Tree Lot shift sign-up will be done online
Each Crew member or Boy Scout should sign up for four shifts at the Troop 100 Tree Lot – November 28-December 18. Parents/guardians should sign up for three shifts a piece (it’s okay for parents to split their shifts: 6-0, 5-1, or 4-2 rather than 3-3).
All scout/crew parents/guardians will be getting an e-mail from the website we are using this year – SignUpGenius.com.
If you signed up for shifts at the Court of Honor, your shifts have been entered into the website. Please sign in to the website and check that they are correct and still fit with the rest of your holiday commitments (especially as some of the Scouts were signing up for themselves). If you did not sign up at the Court of Honor, please go to the website and sign up for available shifts. Lance has created sign-ups for all the upcoming trips – make sure you go to the Tree Lot 2015 one (the one with the Troop 100 logo).
This website has been decent so far, but they all have their wonkiness:
- If you have not used it before, you will have to do the account-password thing (sorry).
- If you are signing up your spouse or child, make sure you check the “Display an Alternate Name” box, or your name will appear for that shift.
- You can sign up yourself OR a family member up for multiple shifts at one time.
- It does not work well to try to sign up multiple family members for the same shift by just increasing quantity (very wonky). Please don’t do it.
Finally, please double-check your phone number.
