• Mouth The leader communicates loudly enough for everyone to hear, and clearly
enough for everyone to understand. He varies the tone of his voice as he talks.
• Eyes The leader makes eye contact with listeners.
• Ears The leader is aware of how listeners respond to what he says, and he adjusts his
communicating to fit their needs.
