Crew Trip to Whiskey Spit 11/23 [Updated]

This Saturday we are going to Whiskey Spit. The Gedosch peoples have a place up there. It’s small and spare, but it will be just right for us.

We will meet at the church at 8:30 in order to make the 9:40 ferry out of Edmonds. Pack a sack lunch, some snacks, a pair of rubber boots (really a must for launching the boat to get over to their place), a frisbee or whatever suits your fancy like that, and some warm clothes. We will be outdoors most of the day, whether we’re in the boat, setting out a crab pot, getting oysters, swinging on the rope swing, goofing around on the beach, building a bonfire, or what have you. It will be like camping. Only just for the day.

Please RSVP to this email and let us know if you plan on coming. We need to make sure we have enough spots in the cars that are going.

Don’t forget hat, gloves, warm clothes, wool socks and rubber boots. It’s supposed to be clear and cold! It’s going to be fun!!

We have a crew outing to Whiskey Spit on Saturday, Nov. 23rd. Meet at TUMC at 8:45 so we can catch the Edmonds ferry. Bring rubber boots, frisbees, crab pots (what? you don’t have a crab pot?), blankets. We’ll talk more at the Crew Meeting on Wed 11/20 at 7p about what to bring. We’re renting a small motor boat. Yay!
