The next Troop 100 outing is a backpacking trip to Norwegian Memorial 14 – 17 February 2014.  This is one of the Troop’s favorite trips to a gorgeous destination on the Pacific Coast.<\/p>\n

We will meet at the TUMC<\/a> church on Friday 13 Feb @ 5:00PM.  Bring a sack dinner and sack trail lunch for Saturday.<\/p>\n

We will return approx. 5:00PM on Monday 17 Feb.<\/p>\n

We will car-camp Friday night at Mora campground, Olympic National Park.  Saturday we will backpack in and stay two nights on Kayostia Beach just south of the Norwegian Memorial.  Activities while we are there include restoration of the Norwegian Memorial, hike to Lake Ozette, climbing the adjacent headlands, harvesting mussels at low tide, building a gigantic bonfire on the beach …or just hanging out.
