Crew is still slated for a hike, but they will not be going for two days as originally planned.  Instead they are going for a day hike on Sunday, Sept. 28th.  They are looking into two  possibilities:<\/p>\n

Vesper Peak.  It’s up off the Mtn. Loop Hwy, so not too bad a drive.  It’s a 9 mile round trip hike, with 4,100′ of elevation gain.  The peak is at 6200′.  On a clear day the views are awesome, but it might be somewhat cloudy.  You can still say you bagged a peak.<\/p>\n

Teanaway. <\/b>Maybe South Ingalls Peak or something around there. They aren’t positive which hike they will do, but they would look for something good, of course! A  little research is needed.
\nEither way, they will be meeting at the church at 7a.  Diana is leaning towards Vesper Peak and it’s got it’s steep parts, for sure, so an early start would be good.   But it’s snow free all the way and it’s a great hike.<\/p>\n

Please let Diana know if you are going.  And, she needs to know as soon as possible for transportation planning.  Sean Harvey and Diana are both driving, but we can always find another driver if need be.  She has some folks waiting in the wings.  If you have strong opinions about which option you want, let her know that as well.<\/p>\n
