\nRockport on the Skagit River.The 10- mile canoe trip will go through the
\nlargest Bald Eagle wintering grounds in the lower 48 states.\n

To sign up for
\nthis trip, make a check payable to Troop 100 for $25.00 and send it to Lance
\nPettit. <\/a>The deadline is October 30th.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>The plan is to float the Skagit on Saturday and camp at Howard
\nMiller’s Steelhead Park in Rockport. We’ll have some time on Saturday and
\nSunday to explore the Skagit River Interpretive Center and hike the Wildlife
\nTrail.<\/div>\n
At this time of year, this part of the Skagit River is rated a
\nclass 1 for beginners. We’ll do canoe and equipment training at the first two
\ntroop meetings in November. The scouts will camp and cook by patrol<\/a>s as usual.
