Our current editor will stay on long enough for you to get up and running.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"null\">Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Edit\u00a0troop newsletter and occasional all-troop emails<\/li>\n<li>Attend monthly Troop Committee meetings &#8211; much of the newsletter content comes from attending this meeting<\/li>\n<li>Via email, work with other adult troop leaders<\/li>\n<li>If you have the proficiency, update our troop website news blog<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"null\">Skills<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong editing and possible copywiriting<\/li>\n<li>We use MailChimp &#8211; familiarity with an email marketing service would be beneficial but not necessary<\/li>\n<li>Some basic knowledge of html code is very helpful<\/li>\n<li>Organized and a willingness to learn<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have strong editing skills and a desire to really know what&#8217;s going on, then this is a great volunteer opportunity.
