Troop 100 is establishing a\u00a0tradition of\u00a0working with the Civil War cemetery on Capitol Hill over the Memorial Day weekend. It\u00a0consists of three events:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Service project on\u00a0Saturday, May 28 at\u00a010:00 am, including placing flags at headstones (two hour commitment)<\/li>\n
  2. Flag raising and ceremony on\u00a0Monday, May 30\u00a0(about one hour)<\/li>\n
  3. Flag lowering and removal of the smaller flags on the evening of\u00a0May 30\u00a0(a smaller affair – about 45 minutes).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The adult lead will work with the SPL and the Friends of the G.A.R. Cemetery to make sure all three events go smoothly.\u00a0 Ethan Rogers was the adult\u00a0lead last year and will help you organize this year, but may not be available during that weekend.<\/p>\n
