All interested parents are invited to attend. The Troop Committee is responsible for ensuring that the Troop resources are managed and available to support Troop activities. These&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Troop Committee<\/a> Position Open &ndash; Registrar<\/p>\n<p>Here is a description of the job:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Register new families&nbsp;by accepting paper or online applications.<\/li>\n<li>Add contact information for new scouts into the database, website contact directory, and TroopMaster. Submit applications to the council office.&nbsp; Request copies of the official roster from the council a few times per year and review to ensure that all applications submitted have been received and processed and the new members have been registered.<\/li>\n<li>Collect registration fees and submit them to the <a href=\"https:\/\/troop100seattle.com\/?encyclopedia=treasurer\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Duties Include: &bull; Handle all troop funds and report to the Troop Committee at each meeting. &bull; Pay bills on recommendation of the Scoutmaster and authorization of the troop committee. &bull; Maintain checking and savings accounts. &bull; . &bull; Keep&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">treasurer<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Provide new families with instructions on how to sign up for website access&nbsp;and the&nbsp;newsletter email list, submit medical forms, and complete <a href=\"https:\/\/troop100seattle.com\/?encyclopedia=youth-protection-training\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Youth Protection training is required for all BSA registered volunteers. &nbsp;Youth Protection training must be taken every two years. If a volunteer&rsquo;s Youth Protection training record is not current at the time of recharter, the volunteer will not be re-registered.\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Youth Protection Training<\/a> requirements for adult applicants.<\/li>\n<li>Notify <a href=\"https:\/\/troop100seattle.com\/?encyclopedia=scoutmaster\" target=\"_self\" title=\"The Scoutmaster is the adult leader responsible for the image and program of the troop. The Scoutmaster and his assistant Scoutmasters work directly with the Scouts. The Scoutmaster can be male or female but must be at least 21 years&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Scoutmaster<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/troop100seattle.com\/?encyclopedia=advancement-chair\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Duties Include: &bull; Encourage Scouts to advance in rank. &bull; Coordinate\/Arrange troop boards of review and courts of honor. &bull; Maintain advancement records in Troopmaster &bull; Work with the Merit Badge Coordinator to create Merit Badge Counselor contact list. &bull;&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Advancement Chair<\/a>, Health Forms Liaison, Newsletter Editor, Webmaster, and <a href=\"https:\/\/troop100seattle.com\/?encyclopedia=tree-lot\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Troop 100&rsquo;s only fundraiser is selling Christmas Trees in the parking lot of St. Alphonsus Church on the corner of 15th Ave NW and NW 58th St. This fundraiser pays for all of the programs Troop 100 runs throughout the&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Tree Lot<\/a> Scheduler of new members or roster changes so that their records may be updated.<\/li>\n<li>Assist&nbsp;the <a href=\"https:\/\/troop100seattle.com\/?encyclopedia=chartered-organization\" target=\"_self\" title=\"A religious, civic, fraternal, educational, or other community organization that has applied for and received a charter to operate a Scouting unit.\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Chartered Organization<\/a> Representative and the Unit Leaders with the re-<a href=\"https:\/\/troop100seattle.com\/?encyclopedia=charter\" target=\"_self\" title=\"The Boy Scouts of America was granted a federal charter in 1916 to provide a program of character development, citizenship training, and mental and physical fitness for all boys.
