Enrollees are known as &ldquo;Friends.&rdquo;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Friends of Scouting<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The annual<b> Friends of Scouting&nbsp;<\/b>contributions campaign enables the Chief Seattle Council to continue providing an outstanding program to more than 24,400 youth in King, Kitsap, Clallam, Jefferson and North Mason counties. Through the Scouting programs our children, families, and communities are stronger and better prepared for the future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When you give a gift, you support:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Scouting programs in 5 counties for more than&nbsp;24,400 youth.<\/li>\n<li>Camping experiences for over 10,000 youth.<\/li>\n<li>Basic and advanced training for youth and adults.<\/li>\n<li>A professional staff to provide program and administrative support to over 9,000 Scout leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Two <a href=\"https:\/\/troop100seattle.com\/?encyclopedia=scout-shop\" target=\"_self\" title=\"The Scout Shop is located at the Chief Seattle Council office at 3120 Rainier Avenue South. However, you don&rsquo;t need to make a trip. You can call the Scout Shop at 206-721-5945 and, for a nominal fee, your items will&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Scout shop<\/a>s complete with all necessary Scouting supplies.<\/li>\n<li>Camperships for youth who need financial assistance for camp.<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance &amp; operation of more than 1,400 acres of camp property.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Donation forms were handed out at the Fall <a href=\"https:\/\/troop100seattle.com\/?encyclopedia=court-of-honor\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Three times a year (October, March, June) there is a special meeting in which rank advancements and merit badges are awarded. The October and March Courts occur at the regular Troop meeting time and usually feature a potluck dinner or&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Court of Honor<\/a>.
